Working at MSI
MSI is an independent, interdisciplinary, not for profit
research laboratory. It offers a high quality research environment
with significant interactions and collaborations with leading
national and international researchers. The institute
is fully equipped for molecular biological, genomic, and
computational work. MSI occupies 8,000 square feet
of lab and office space in downtown Berkeley, California,
steps away from the downtown Berkeley BART station, in proximity
to major academic, government and industrial research institutes.
The UC Berkeley campus is a three minute walk away, buses
to Lawrence Berkeley National lab stop around the corner
from the institute and both the UCSF Mission Bay and Parnassus
campus are accessible via BART and MUNI.
